Online Bookings

Let your clients book their own appointments — anytime, anywhere. Salonnare comes with a built-in online booking page that you can share on your website, social media, or in emails. No extra tools needed.

  1. Go to Settings.
  2. Look for Online Bookings.
  3. You'll see your unique booking link. Copy it and share it wherever you like.

You can put this link on your website, in your Instagram bio, on your Facebook page, or include it in emails to clients.

What your clients see

When someone visits your booking link, they're guided through a simple five-step process:

  1. Choose a service — They pick the treatment they want from your menu.
  2. Choose a staff member — If you've enabled staff selection, they can pick who they'd like to see. Otherwise, Salonnare automatically assigns the best available person.
  3. Choose a date and time — They see only the available slots based on your calendar and staff schedules.
  4. Enter their details — Name, email, and phone number.
  5. Confirm — They review everything and confirm the booking.

The client receives a confirmation email, and the appointment appears on your calendar immediately.

Customizing your booking settings

You can fine-tune how online booking works to suit your salon:

Booking mode

  • Direct — Appointments are confirmed instantly. The client gets a confirmation and the booking goes straight onto your calendar.
  • Request — Appointments need your approval first. You receive an email with Accept and Decline options. The client is notified of your decision.
Request mode is great if you want to review bookings before they're confirmed — for example, to check for scheduling conflicts or ensure the right staff member is assigned.

Who can book

  • Everyone — Anyone with the link can book.
  • Existing clients only — Only clients who already have an account can book. They'll need to log in first.

Display options

  • Show prices — Choose whether prices are visible on the booking page.
  • Show duration — Choose whether the service duration is displayed.
  • Staff choice — Allow clients to pick their preferred staff member, or let Salonnare assign one automatically.

Time restrictions

  • Minimum lead time — Set the minimum number of hours before an appointment can be booked. For example, set this to 2 hours to prevent last-minute bookings.
  • Maximum advance days — How far into the future clients can book. For example, 60 days means they can't book more than two months ahead.

Handling booking requests

If you're using Request mode:

  1. A new booking comes in and appears as Provisional on your calendar.
  2. You receive an email notification with the booking details.
  3. Click Accept to confirm it, or Decline to reject it.
  4. The client receives an email letting them know your decision.
Try to respond to booking requests quickly — clients appreciate a fast response, and a long wait might mean they book elsewhere.

Client login for existing clients

When "Existing clients only" is enabled, clients see a login screen before they can book. They can log in with:

  • Email and password — If they've set up an account.
  • Magic link — A passwordless option where they receive a login link by email.

Embedding on your website

Want to add booking directly to your website? In Settings, you'll find ready-to-use code snippets for:

  • Floating button — A booking button that appears in the corner of your website.
  • Inline widget — Embed the booking form directly into a page.
  • Direct link — A simple link to your full booking page.

Just copy the code and paste it into your website.
