Loyalty Programme

Reward your regular clients with a points programme that keeps them coming back.

Loyalty Programme

A loyalty programme is a simple and effective way to reward your best clients and encourage them to keep coming back. Every time they pay at your salon, they earn points. When they have collected enough points, they can use them for a discount on their next visit.

Turning On the Loyalty Programme

The loyalty programme is an optional feature. To enable it:

  1. Go to Settings.
  2. Open Feature Toggles.
  3. Turn on Loyalty programme.

That is it -- your salon now has a loyalty programme.

Setting Up Your Points System

Before your clients start earning, you will want to decide two things: how fast they earn points, and how much those points are worth.

How Many Points Per Euro?

This controls how quickly clients build up their balance.

  1. Go to Settings > Loyalty.
  2. Set the Points per euro value.

For example, if you set it to 1, a client who spends 50 euro earns 50 points. If you set it to 2, they earn 100 points for the same amount.

How Much Is a Point Worth?

This controls how valuable the reward feels.

  1. In Settings > Loyalty, set the Euro value per point.

For example, if you set this to 0.01, then 100 points equals a 1 euro discount. If you set it to 0.05, then 100 points equals 5 euro off.

A popular setup is 1 point per euro spent, with each point worth 0.05 euro. This means a client who spends 200 euro earns 200 points, which gives them a 10 euro reward. That feels generous without cutting too deeply into your margins.

How Clients Earn Points

Points are earned automatically. Whenever a client pays through the register (POS), they receive points based on the amount they spent. You do not need to do anything -- it just happens.

Clients can see their point balance on their profile, and your staff can look it up at any time.

Checking a Client's Points

  1. Go to Clients in the sidebar.
  2. Search for the client and open their profile.
  3. Click on the Loyalty tab.

Here you will find their current point balance and a full history of every time they earned or redeemed points, including which order it was linked to.

Redeeming Points at the Register

When a client wants to use their points:

  1. Open the POS and add the services or products to the order.
  2. At checkout, click Redeem points.
  3. You will see the client's available point balance.
  4. Enter how many points they want to redeem, or click Redeem all to use everything.
  5. The matching euro discount is applied to the order.

Points are only deducted after the payment is completed successfully. If you need to void the order for any reason, the points are automatically returned to the client's balance.

Points can only be redeemed at the register, not through the online booking page. Make sure your staff knows how the redemption works so they can help clients use their points.

Tips for a Successful Loyalty Programme

  • Tell your clients about it. Put up a small sign at the checkout or mention it when they pay. Many salons forget to promote their own loyalty programme.
  • Make the rewards achievable. If clients need to spend 1000 euro before they get anything back, the programme will not feel motivating.
  • Keep it simple. One point per euro, with a clear reward value, is easy for both your team and your clients to understand.
