Media library
The media library is the shared storage place for your salon's images. Upload a photo or logo once and reuse it everywhere afterwards -- in your email campaigns, on your booking page and anywhere else you insert an image. That way you never have to upload the same file twice and your visuals stay neatly in one place.
You can find the media library under Settings -> Media.
Uploading images
- Open Settings -> Media.
- Click Upload and choose one or more files from your computer or phone.
- The files appear in the grid right away and are ready to use immediately.
Salonnare supports the following formats:
- PNG -- ideal for logos and images with a transparent background.
- JPG -- suitable for photos.
- WebP -- a modern format with a small file size.
- GIF -- for simple animations.
Each file can be up to 10 MB. Salonnare compresses and optimizes your images on upload, so they load quickly in emails and on your booking page without you needing to configure anything.
You can select multiple files at once and upload them in one go. Handy when you want to add a series of product photos or banners at the same time.
Storage limit per plan
How much you can store in total depends on your plan. At the top of the media library you always see a bar with your current usage and the limit:

When you get close to the limit, the bar turns orange as a warning. Once the limit is reached, the bar turns red and uploading is blocked until you free up space. In that case, delete old files you no longer use, or upgrade to a higher plan for more room.
Using images
Everything you put in the media library can be reused in several places:
- Email campaigns -- in the campaign builder, open the image picker and click a file from your library to place it in your email. See Email campaigns for the full explanation.
- Booking page and branding -- use your uploaded visuals to give your online booking page and communication their own look. See Branding for setting your colors and logo.
Because the library is shared, you only have to upload an image once to be able to pick it everywhere.
Searching files
If you have a lot of images, use the search field at the top to quickly filter by file name. Type part of the name and the grid only shows the matching files.
Deleting old files
To free up space, you can delete images you no longer need:
- Hover over the image and click the trash icon.
- Confirm the deletion.
If the file is still used somewhere (for example in an email campaign), Salonnare warns you and shows in how many places it is still in use. You can then still choose to delete it permanently. Note: deleted images then also disappear from the places where they were used.
Tips
- Upload once, use everywhere -- the library is shared, so you never have to upload the same file again.
- Keep your storage tidy -- delete expired campaign banners and old photos so you stay within your limit.
- Pick the right format -- use PNG for logos with transparency and JPG or WebP for photos.
