Reports & Analytics

Numbers tell a story. The reporting section in Salonnare gives you a clear picture of how your salon is performing -- from daily revenue to staff productivity to client trends. No spreadsheets required.

Finding Your Reports

Go to Reporting in the sidebar. You will see several report types to choose from.

Revenue Report

This is probably the report you will use most. It shows your total revenue broken down by day, week, or month.

  1. Open Reporting > Revenue.
  2. Set your date range using the from and to filters.
  3. Choose how you want to group the data: by day, by week, or by month.

You will see a clear overview of how much money came in during that period.

Check your revenue report at the end of each week. It only takes a minute, and it helps you spot trends early -- like a slow week that might need a promotion to fill empty slots.

Staff Performance

Want to know how each team member is doing?

  1. Open Reporting > Staff Performance.
  2. Set the date range.

You will see for each staff member:

  • Total revenue generated.
  • Number of appointments completed.
  • Average spend per client.

This is helpful for setting goals, having performance conversations, or simply making sure the workload is balanced across your team.

Client Analysis

Understand your client base better:

  • New vs. returning clients -- Are you attracting new people or mainly serving regulars?
  • Top clients by revenue -- Who are your most valuable clients?

This information helps you decide where to focus your marketing. If you are not getting enough new clients, maybe it is time for a promotion. If your regulars are slowing down, a loyalty programme might help.

No-Show Overview

If you have no-show fees enabled, this report shows you:

  • The total number of no-shows.
  • How much was charged in no-show fees.
  • How much of those fees was actually paid.

Drilling Down into the Details

Here is something really useful: every summary card and chart in the reporting section is clickable. When you click on a number, it opens up a detailed view showing the individual records behind it.

For example:

  • Click on Revenue to see the individual orders.
  • Click on Bookings to see the appointment list with statuses.
  • Click on Clients to see client details with visit history.
  • Click on No-shows to see individual no-show records and payment status.
  • Click on Gift cards to see balances and transactions.
  • Click on Payments to see payment records by method.

Each drill-down view has filters and actions -- like resending a receipt or copying a payment link -- so you can take action right from the report.

Exporting Reports

Need to save or share a report?

  1. Click the Export button at the top of any report.
  2. The data downloads as a file you can open in any spreadsheet program.

Export is available for revenue, client, staff, and booking reports.

If you need formatted exports for your accountant (like Exact Online or Moneybird format), check out the [Accounting Export](./accounting-export) article.

Audit Log

The Audit Log tab shows a timeline of everything that happened in your salon system: who changed what, and when. This is useful if you ever need to track down when a booking was edited, who applied a discount, or when a setting was changed.

You can filter the audit log by date range and by the type of action.

Filtering

All reports support date filtering. If you do not set a specific period, the reports default to showing today's data.
