Your dashboard

Get to grips with your dashboard -- the five KPI cards, today's appointments, the stock/sales column, and the action-needed drawer.

Your dashboard

The dashboard is the first thing you see after logging in. A quick overview of what your day looks like -- without digging through menus.

KPI cards

At the top you'll find a row of overview cards with your key figures. Each card is clickable and takes you straight to the relevant section:

  • Revenue this month -- the total revenue for the current month, with a trend percentage compared to last month. Click to go to Reporting.
  • Appointments today -- the number of appointments scheduled for today. Click to go to your calendar.
  • Total clients -- the total number of clients in your database. Click to go to Clients.
  • Orders -- the number of recent point-of-sale orders. Click to go to the POS.
  • Reviews -- your average score and the number of reviews received. If you have no reviews yet, it shows "No reviews yet".

KPI cards and notification bell

On larger screens you'll see all five cards side by side; on a smaller screen they're automatically placed in two columns.

Today's appointments

Below the cards, on the left, sits the chronological list of today's appointments, showing the time, treatment(s), client name, and assigned staff member. Each row also shows a status label. Click View all in the top right of this block to jump to the full calendar. If there are no appointments, the block shows "No appointments today".

Low stock or recent sales

The right-hand column adapts to your situation:

  • If you have products below their minimum stock level, this block shows Low stock with the first five items that need reordering. Click View all to go to Inventory.
  • If there are no low-stock items, this block instead shows Recent sales -- the latest point-of-sale orders with amount, time, and item count. Click View all to go to the POS.

The onboarding checklist

As long as your salon isn't fully set up yet, an onboarding checklist with a circular progress indicator sits at the top of the dashboard. It guides you through the first setup steps. Once every step is done (or if you hide the checklist), it disappears on its own. See Getting-started checklist for the full explanation.

Notifications and the notification center

In the top right sits the bell icon. It shows a red badge as soon as something needs your attention. Clicking it opens a slide-in drawer: the notification center.

Drawer with To-do block

In the drawer you'll see two blocks:

  • To do -- appointments still awaiting checkout, open no-shows, and cancellations that need follow-up. The badge number on the bell counts only this block.
  • Recent -- all general notifications from today and the past few days.

Each "To do" notification has a direct action: Check out opens the POS, Complete closes the appointment, Register no-show starts the no-show flow, and Follow up opens the client profile. An undo toast gives you a few seconds to reverse an action.

Read Notifications for the full story behind the notification center.

Your day at a glance

Alongside the five KPI cards there is an extra clickable card: Your day at a glance. This card is personal -- it always shows the data for the staff member who is currently logged in. Click it to open the personal day dashboard.

The day dashboard shows:

  • Timeline of your own appointments -- all your appointments for today in chronological order, with treatment, client, and room.
  • Day KPIs -- number of appointments scheduled, how many have been completed, any no-shows, the revenue from your own treatments, and any tips received.
  • Client signals -- flags per client in your list: new client (first visit), attention note, elevated no-show risk, and the status of any outstanding intake form.
  • Gaps and breaks -- empty slots in your calendar so you can see when you have time for a break or a walk-in.
The day dashboard is ideal for a quick scan in the morning before your first client arrives. You'll know exactly what to expect and won't be caught off guard during a treatment.

Company announcements

Sometimes a colored banner appears at the top of the dashboard -- for example about planned maintenance or an important announcement from Salonnare. These banners disappear on their own once the announcement has expired.

Getting the most out of your dashboard

The dashboard is built as your daily starting point:

  1. Scan your KPI cards -- see at a glance how your salon is doing.
  2. Run through today's appointments -- who's coming and when.
  3. Clear the drawer -- handle the "To do" items, dismiss stray notifications.
  4. Keep an eye on the right-hand column -- reorder what's running low or review your recent sales.
